you always hear the cliches about love and relationships. like "he/she gives me butterflies/goosebumps, they take my breath away, i'm head over heels in love, they make me feel like i've been punched in the stomach." etc.,
you basically always think those are stupid, unless, you are in one of those relationships, or you're just hopelessly romantic.
I, being the cynic that I am, am personally grossed out by stuff like that most of the time. Sometimes these cliches disgust me. There are some couples where I look at them and I'm like, "I will never be like that. I will never be that disgustingly cute." Other times, I wish I had that. I wish I was THAT in love.

Like a very intellegent friend of mine recently said, "You'll never know what those cliches truly mean, until you're with the one they're about."
